Visit, play, make: wood and toys, in the heart of the Black Mountain.
The shop brings together more than 20 French wood artisans.
All year round by reservation, workshops for manufacturing wooden objects, from 3 to 103 years old.
On 1500 m2, go for an initiatory journey, a playful experience, from forest to tree, from tree to wood, from wood to toy! Discover the Black Mountain, its fauna, its flora and its forests, then, take a tour through the legends before looking into the wood industry, carrying innovation projects and conducive to the arts.
Then descend into the cave where the elves jealously guard games and toys from around the world, before browsing the themed display cases: circus, fortified castles or dolls houses, these are nearly 2,000 games and toys, yesterday and today awaiting you.
Finish by the large games room where adults, children and toddlers meet for a unique moment of sharing.
The shop offers for sale games and works of art created and manufactured in France by more than 20 artisans that we represent. You can also enjoy a refreshment bar and sweets to enjoy on the terrace.
All year round, come and participate in one of our wooden workshops (children and adults), especially during school holidays.
Outside, a few hundred meters from the new Himalayan footbridge of Mazamet, immerse yourself in the world of tales from your childhood through 10 handcrafted wooden constructions or browse the arboretum in search of the Fables of the Fountain in the middle of more than 50 different tree species. January, February, March, November and December:
Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
April, May, June, September and October:
Tuesday to Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
July and August: every day from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Closed on January 1, May 1 and December 25.
Group every day by reservation.
